Scoutmaster:
The intent of this memo is to inform you that on February 7 2003, Troop 11 of Jackson MO will be holding a First Aid Merit Badge workshop/Lockin. This will be located at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. The cost of this event is $5.00 per Scout and is limited to Scouts Ist Class and above. What is needed of you as Scoutmaster, each Scout's name and address that meet the rank requirement and need the merit badge. Please send this information to Jim Shipman at scoutmaster4011@yahoo.com. The Scouts will be informed of any prerequisites in their invitation. This workshop is by invitation only. thus the need for names and address'. Please provide this information as soon as possible so we can get the letters out to the Scouts. The agenda far the evening is as follows:

The following is a segment from the invitation the Scout's will receive:
Please ensure that you bring a signed Merit Badge card from your Scoutmaster, paper, pencil / pen. $5.00 fee, a sleeping bag, scout handbook. First Aid Merit Badge book, family first aid kit, and most importantly,.. A POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
As with any Merit Badge, a Class "A" uniform IS required. You will be allowed to change at the discretion of the Merit Badge Counselor.
NOTE; There is one prerequisite for this workshop, this first port of requirement 2B. This requirement states the following;
"Prepare a first aid kit for your home, Display and discuss its contents with your counselor,"
The display and discuss portion will be completed at the workshop.
